"There’s an old adage that “None of us is as smart as all of us.”   This describes how I view Andrew Simmerman. 

 

Though Andrew is highly intelligent, active in social causes, abreast on issues of the day; the most impressive skill I admire about Andrew is his ability to listen intently and learn from others.  That ability to engage folks, bring them to a level of comfort, and share their inner feelings is something only few people can do.  But because Andrew is open-minded, has a high level of social intelligence, empathizes with others and listens without judgement; he can connect with all walks of life.

 

In a time in our society where viewpoints are more binary than ever, Andrew has mastered the ability to find common ground and connect with all sides of the spectrum.  This is what makes him a good colleague, teammate and friend.  He brings out the best in everyone to ensure we all walk out of a room smarter than when we entered it."
