Word on the street...

" Andrew and I worked together for three plus years and during our time as colleagues, he expertly navigated complex relationships with our school, district, and community partners. As a direct result of his perseverance and ability to genuinely articulate our mission, Andrew expanded our non-profit’s outreach throughout San Diego and built a strong foundation for our organization that we still rely on today to continue our work. His deep commitment to our mission and passion for social justice makes him a compelling advocate and ally with diverse audiences.

Andrew joined our non-profit team in its early phases; as we worked to establish a well-functioning region, he demonstrated his adaptability by stepping into multiple different roles in order to push us towards our goals and support the team.

Andrew also facilitated adult learning sessions for our cohort of teachers on a variety of topics—from more technical aspects such as hiring and interview preparation to broader topics such as personal identity work and inequity, Andrew was engaging, empathetic, and skilled. Andrew navigated difficult conversations with poise and expertise.

Andrew’s positivity and ability to build strong relationships made him a valued colleague and team member. Andrew often brought community-building rituals to the full group and ensured that each of his teammates felt valued through his actions and words.

Andrew is a team player, passionate, and intelligent. He would make a valuable asset to any organization."
